Great Glob.

One of the finest individual objects in the southern sky would undoubtedly be 47 Tucanae (NGC 104). This globular cluster lays in the constellation of Tucana, the toucan. Containing approximately 100,000 stars, this object looks like a fuzzy star with unaided vision, but binoculars or small telescopes provide breath-taking views. Photo details: Canon 350D, 3 minute exposure with an 80mm refractor at f-5, ISO 400.
