Fokker DR I

The most famous fighter of WWI was clearly the Fokker DR I Triplane. This was the aircraft of legendary fighter ace, Manfred Von Richthofen - the 'Red Baron'. Despite its fame and popularity, only 230 were ever made. Photo details: Canon 40D, ISO 400, 1/1000th second exposure with a Canon EF 70-200mm IS USM lens @ f-7.1.
