Feathered Fisher.
 
A black shag airs its wings after a fishing session on the shore of Lake Tekapo. These fresh water birds are most common in the North Island, but populations also inhabit the lakes and rivers of South Island. Photo details: Canon 350D, ISO 400, 1/160th second exposure with a Sigma 28-300mm lens @ f-5.6.
