At the heart of the Aoraki Mount
Cook National Park, lays a relationship of giant proportions.
The statue of Sir Edmund Hillary stands gazing up at his mountain, a
tribute to the achievements of man with a huge heart & vision. Sadly,
the man now rests, but the mountain continues to echo with his memory
and the sound of roaring avalanches. Photo details: Canon 350D, ISO 400,
1/200th second exposure with a Sigma 28-300mm DC lens @ f-8 + polarising
filter.
