Middle Earth.
 
This image was taken on the morning of November 6, 2003. I was camping with a friend in the Kaweka ranges, North Island, New Zealand. The shrill cry of a kiwi woke me to the frosty morning. I got up and saw the near full moon illuminating a river of fog in the valley below. I just couldn't resist this shot.
