Earth-Shine.

Have you ever marveled at how brightly lit our landscape is during a full moon? Well, the same thing happens there too... Seen from the moon, a full earth casts bright light in the same way. It is always easiest to see just after new moon. When evening twilight is fading, go out and look west. It's a beautiful sight!
