Dome Dog.

With time and money, it is hoped the Matariki telescope will be the largest in New Zealand's North Island, but in the mean-time, the bare structure of the dome nicely frames a bright and well coloured sundog. Photo details: Canon 350D, 1/800th second exposure with an 18-35mm lens, ISO 200 @ f-20.
